The DIGIT Lab Newsletter

DIGIT Lab's monthly newsletter provides regular updates of DIGIT Lab wide activities, upcoming events and successes of our researchers. The DIGIT Lab is an EPSRC Next Stage Digital Economy Research Centre delivering a 5-year research programme backed by £12.4M in funding.

In this month's edition of the DIGIT Lab Newsletter we will introduce you to the DIGIT Lab Digital Fellows, fill you in on this month's newsletter highlight and provide an activity newsfeed of on demand recordings and details of DIGIT Lab's recent engagements.

Meet the Digital Fellows

Six new Digital Fellows have now been announced. These are our panel of expert advisors, offering insights from their own experience, getting involved in project work, and representing diverse communities.

These experts include:

• Dave Birch, Independent Advisor

• James McGregor, Senior Economist, Ramboll

• Cathy Mulligan, DCentral Director, Professor and ERA Chair at Instituto Técnico Superior at University of Lisbon

• RashikParmar, IBM Fellow and Vice President Technology

• Samantha Seaton, CEO at Moneyhub Enterprise

• Mike Young, Independent Advisor, on BT’s Non-Executive Technology Advisory Board

This Month's Highlight

This month's highlight is the DIGIT Lab Launch. The Launch took place on the 21st of September, and was an opportunity for the Centre’s Director, academic leads and industry guests to outline DIGIT Lab’s achievements to date, its ongoing research, the four core DIGIT Lab themes and the centre’s research questions.
